    I'm starting to think this is never going to get fully resolved... I'm also getting more & more convinced this is not a b&o but an Google issue. Google seems be doing an extremely sh*t job with it's chromecast, even my nvidia shield is starting to have issue with chromecast now (until I reverted it back to the factory version of CC)... hell, since this year even my google chromecast audio devices, so 100% pure google devices, are having issue connecting (and I had many of them

    Can confirm the same behaviour, received the update for my M5's couple of days ago. the issue with Chromecast is still there... What a fail B&O, I'm having multiple expensive but worthless pieces of sh*t M5's now thanks to your absolute failure to support the basic functionalities. I guess it's time to kick out the B&O shi*te and replace them by a real premium brand like B&W

    That's a bit disappointing, seems they kept the old CC Thanks for the information! Been keeping an eye on mine but none of my speakers have received the update yet (even tried by putting my M5s via vpn on Sweden and Denmark)

    Exact same issues here, been going on for months already I'm currently on Beoplay M5 FW version: 1.24.41628.167401182 Chromecast version 1.28.102057 After a reboot the system usually works for a while until it doesn't... which will most of the time be at the worst possible time :( i can't get my head around this, how can a premium brand like B&O be so underperforming when it comes to releasing firmware updates? If it's due to the Google cast build in FW being outdated, they should

    "Certain customers" I really don't think this is an issue related to only a small amount of users, got the same issue with my 2 M5s, basically making them unusable for me. Network itself seems fine, I'm running a meh network and have exceptional good performance everywhere, the device itself confirms this Verbindingsstatus connected Signaalsterkte excellent I really don't understand how a premium brand can go so lightly over a total function breaking issues like this /edit 07
