• Any HD800 owners able to comment on H95/HX/Portal comfort?

Hey everyone! So I’m in dire need of some new headphones due to work from home arrangements with my significant other meaning I can’t just go wild with my speakers all day. I’m also unable to visit a dealer to try these headphones out so I’m hoping to get some honest feedback before I decide what to get. Personally the Sennheiser HD800 is the pinnacle of headphone comfort (for wired headphones) though the wireless Bose QC35 II isn’t too bad either. I’ve never tried
My dealer said ~$15,000USD, so probably a bit more, then.
Ouch. Admittedly however as far as aesthetics go I'm starting to warm up to these speakers; but I still struggle with some design decisions and the price certainly isn't helping especially when comparing them against the Beolab 20's. It doesn't matter how anyone wants to spin this but physics are physics and you'll only be able to push so much air with 6.5" woofers. You just

Oof, can’t say I’m a big fan of this design; I had high hopes after what B&O pulled off with the Level & Contour. And they got rid of the acoustic lens? Or does it pop out like the 50? Would be very interesting if they did indeed get rid of it, but as things stand I still much prefer the aesthetics of the 18 though I’ll have to reserve final judgement until I actually see the speaker in person.

  • Re: Beoplay Portal gaming headset

Has anyone tried both the Portal and HX — and I guess H95 too as an added bonus — and can comment on long term comfort? Any difference? I’ve always been more of a speaker girl because the vast majority of headphones don’t really seem to work for me in terms of comfort; but with work-from-home being the norm I also need to be mindful of my partner whom I share my home with so I’ve been looking at headphones again. As another point of reference I used to own a Bose QC

  • Re: BS1 "New York Edition" on sale on B&O Website (USA)

Hey! Congrats on managing to snag the BS1 on discount! I totally get what you mean when you say that the BS1 probably works best in the kitchen; the design just seems rather kitchen-friendly. Personally I bought mine because of how easy it is to wipe dust down. My BS1 is permanently in my bedroom where there’s lots of dust from doing the bed each morning and so on, so one of my priorities was a speaker which would be easy to wipe down every week. Having said that, I was never 100% happy with

I’m also leaning towards the 28 being an 18 successor rather than 20... it would be too confusing otherwise haha. It would make a lot more sense for the 20’s replacement to be called 30. Definitely looking forward regardless though!

  • Re: Beosound Level - new soundbar?
Level or a pre-loved BeoSound 2...? Which and why?
I guess it really depends what you want from the speaker. Personally I own the BS2, BS1, BeoLit 17, and a couple of A1’s so while I have yet to listen to the Level I am familiar with both the BS1 and BS2 and I feel that the BS1 and Level are a little similar in that they’re rather powerful semi-portable speakers with a battery inside. From a purely acoustic perspective I absolutely do not see the

I’m 100% sold. This is jaw-dropping. This is such a perfect blend of modern and classic design and I particularly love the black strip with the illuminated lights behind them as they remind me of the BeoMaster systems of the past. This is honestly one of the most B&O designs I’ve seen in an extremely long time. Couldn’t be happier! Well done!
Tell us more please... Any price idea? I guess that the wooden model will cost a lot more compared to the fabric one.
See my reply here:
Price potentially acquired. http://www.lpcomputers.cz/beosound-level-goldtone-alu-light-oak-ga_d181207.aspx “Cena bez DPH” = Price without VAT. This is for Part Number “1200497” with the wood, so presumably the fabric version will be cheaper? 35 247.27 CZK to USD = 1

  • B&O: Please show BS1 & BeoLit 17 Battery Level in App & Phone!

Does anyone else find it bloody annoying that B&O doesn’t show the battery level of most of their portable speakers in a user friendly manner? When I use my A1 my iPhone shows its battery level in the battery widget just like any headphone, but for my BeoLit 17 I need to open the B&O app. The BeoSound 1 (Gen 1 if it matters) is even worse because even the app doesn’t show the battery level! You have to go all the way into the web-based product configuration and status page for
