  • Network Link All Standy

Probably similar to the old Masterlink system in that it was a safety feature. If you put the whole system in standby from a link room the stand would not return to the home position as you couldn't see what what happening while the stand was moving. The stand would only return to it's home position if the command was given in the room that the TV was in direct. My understanding anyway. Peter

  • BL5 placement

Don't think the placement of these BL5's would be using the full potential of the ALT. Bass wouldn't be at it's best either

  • Re: H7 Headphones

Had my H7's for a couple of weeks now and have been very impressed with them. No dropouts at all so far. Have now got the hang of the touch controls which work well though it would be good if the volume control didn't need as many 'turns' to adjust. The track forward /back function took a bit of getting used to but now can adjust without pausing the music.... Phone function works well but would be good if you integrate the voice control functions of the phone but I might be missing

  • Re: Spotify and Deezer on Beosound 5 and Avants...

Hi David, In the past when the BeoSound 5 net radio stations aren't working I have sent an email to Beocare. From memory they will require the name of the station, website, country, URL of stream. Could also require streaming rate as well. The stream has to be WMA (I think) otherwise it can't be loaded. If ok they usually upload for next update. Going fro memory here so might have forgot a requirement or two. Peter

  • Power link and BL8000 question (newbie)

If daisy chaining BL8000's you will need a powerlink splitter as these speakers do not have dual powerlink sockets. This is what you'll.need. http://www.soundsheavenly.co.uk/bando-ply.htm Steve from Sounds Heavenly will be able to assist. Peter

  • Re: NAS and Apple TV

Yes - but it's via iTunes. We have all our movies and tv shows stored on a NAS controlled by a Mac Mini. This is the simplest interface for us on a BV10 that doesn't have media access etc. PM me if you want more info. Peter

  • How to make the best of my B&O equipment?

We have our speakers connected to a BV10 and the BS5 and BS3000 masterlinlked together all in the same room We can have the Tv on while the sound from the BS5 or BS3000 comes through the speakers at the same time. Put tv on desired channel and select AV and then sound source. The TV will will stay on the selected channel and the sound from the audio source will come through the speakers. Best done with a Beolink 1000 as AV button is on the keypad. Works well as long as you don't want to channel
