h9 3rd gen and conference calls
Hi all, I have done some research regarding this topic here and on Google but not really found any useful info regarding how well the h9 3 gen headset works in conference calls, if at all... To my understanding, there is no mute on h9 so that has to be done in the Skype, Teams, whatever app. Anyone with experiences to share?

Re: h9 3rd gen and conference calls
Thanks for the reply. I now see that I forgot to mention that I plan to use the headset connected to a PC for conference calls, not a phone. Does your response relate to a PC or phone used for conference calls?

Re: Weird Beosond9000 behaviour
So in the end it looks like the solution was just as easy as the behavior was weird. The player is hanging vertically on the wall and because of this there was a dust build-up on the lower glass reflector for the finger protection. All it took was wiping off the dust and everything worked fine again.

Weird Beosond9000 behaviour
Hi all, So recently my 9000 started acting strangely. Upon trying to start a CD by pressing a "side button" the device starts to think about it and after some 30 secs moves the sledge a centimeter or two. Then either pauses for another 30 secs and then moves the sledge again or simply gives up and shuts down. Long story short, the CD does not start playing. However... By performing the following sequence I am able to get things running: 1. Press the "open lid button" (nothing

Re: 9000 CD PLAYER QUESTION
I have a vague memory of the 9000 behaving something like you describe if the adjustment screws on the backside of the unit are not set to match the orientation. You can try that, it is by far the cheapest fix if it takes care of your problems.

Re: Beocentre 9000 mk3 sw 3.3 - suddenly lots of problems (new purchase...
Since you managed to get it going I will just mention my "fix" for future readers of the thread... Every now and then my 9000 tends to lose track of its whereabouts and won't play any CD, not just CD 6. For me step 1 is to power off the entire thing using the "big red button" (no worries, it won't self destruct like in movies :-) ). If that does not help it is time for step 2. I have noticed that it seems like there is some tracking mechanism of the sledge that gets lost

Re: Connect Beosound 9000 and Beosound Core
Better late than never... I got the setup going after a lot of swearing about the connection between the core and the app. And broken equipment that needed to go back to the store for replacement. This means that I should send a "thank you" to the people in the thread that took the time to help me with this issue. So: thank you guys.

Re: Bang & Olufsen terminates every ten employees.
Nah, my bet is that most (all?) countries in Europe will hold the lock-down until around Easter. Reason is simple, most countries will not be able to afford a shutdown of the economy for any longer. By then some top level EU unit will recommend the countries to lift most of the restrictions and since it is a EU body making the recommendation no individual government can be held responsible. Convenient way for the leadership in each country... By that time we will also have better statistics for how

Re: Bang & Olufsen terminates every ten employees.
I have a more 'high-level' question: Are we seeing any board members leaving (read getting sacked)? As far as I am concerned, the deep troubles of B&O are pretty much all down to a useless board not being able to keep up with the realities of the world. The bad software we have seen over the years is almost certainly a result of top level decisions. The fish rotts from the head... And now over 100 persons will be out of a job, to no small reason due to incompetence at top level.
