• Beocenter 9500 for FREE!!

I've got a Beocenter 9500 which someone can have for nothing or its going to the dump. Don't get too excited though! It has no metal panels, no glass and the CD doesn't work. Basically it's a load of spares if you need them. It's yours for free though but it must be collected. Im in Surrey near Banstead.

The 900 compact is indeed a nice looking radiogram. It's not too big but as you say it needs to be longer if I want the Beocord 5000!

I would get a Beocord 5000 just to complete the set even though I'd never use it. It would look nice

  • Beomaster 6000 Quad back and sounding great

My Bm6000 had developed a habit of dropping a couple of the channels once it warmed up had never really worked via the remote so I got in touch with Tim Jarman and he agreed to take a look. Well I picked it up last week and I'm delighted with it. It actually sounds better than I thought. I know the bm6000 isn't the greatest amp ever but it sounds rather nice through the pentas as I've still not hooked it up to the P50's. As I couldn't have the amp done and then have an old cartridge

  • Re: New A2 colour

I went to my local dealers about a month ago with the intention of getting a Beolit 15 but was put off by the colours. Pastel pink really isn't what I was looking for. They also didn't have the blue in stock but even that is not really what I would like. If there was a beolit 15 in these colours I for one would be straight back to my dealer to get one.
Beaker, where on earth do you find these rare things? Looks lovely though! Does it work? Even better to find it with the manuals and catalogues as well! Ben
It does work even though I'm sure it hadn't been used for many, many years. It was filthy when I got it too. The owners manual actually belongs to my other TR26 Beo which I got off eBay a couple of years ago or so. The brochure was one of those lucky ones where I bought a Bm900 cheaply from a terrible

My scanner is being a pain but here's a couple of pictures of a brochure and the user manual.

Yes it is a Beo / Beo610 / TR26. I'm not sure what the correct name actually is, I think it depends on location. I've got a user manual which calls it a TR26 and brochures that call it the other names. Anyway, I'd never seen a cloth cover with a B&o radio so had to have it.

I recently got this mystery item. 10 points if you can guess what's inside the cloth cover.

  • Re: Car Talk

I always vowed to never drive a car younger than me and kept that idea going for quite a while by driving 60's cars. I had a Hillman SuperMinx and a Sunbeam Rapier which was great. Then I went a bit crazy and got a boy racer type car which was an imported Toyota Starlet Glanza which after a change of turbo and a few other tweaks was making 221BHP from its 1.3 engine. It only weighed 900kg so it had insanely quick acceleration. I rapidly accrued penalty points on my driving licence so disposed
