• Re: THE BEOWORLD MAY 2012 PRIZE DRAW
Just have seen that Båstad is as high in the north as Struer. At least google maps shows it like that. You have to have BEO in your blood! ;-)
Ah :) Didnt know that but its probably so. Yes I think Beo is very much in my blood, not much is better than it :)

The page is down now but I had a look at the front page before it went down. I think it is a bit to big on the screen. I have a 24" screen at work and it feels tight even there. I also don't like the three product boxes, it feels a bit cheap but perhaps it is a good thing anyway. Don't like the categories, just three? And why is Car audio one of them? Don't make sense but it probably looks better when it works like it should :) Also the font is too big. I hope they discarded all

It is up again and looking on the pages I just have one thing to say: WOW. It is so great! but some pages have the wrong font, as on Beovision 7 some text is georgia or something like that. I still think Car audio is very miss-placed. Car audio IS sound. It seems to be down again. I wonder what CMS they are using. Looks like WordPress :)
Yes, it's 1180px wide, which is about 180px than we'd recommend (1000px max). Site is back up. I'm liking it. People don't generally like change too much, so most first reactions are nearly always negative. But my first reaction is that it's better, which is good. Cleaner.
It was up :) and will probably be back soon again. I agree with you and most reactions in the beginning is, as you say, negative. One thing I notice is all the white

  • Re: B&O Play V1 Reviewed

" The V1′s audio was so crisp and rich, with such clarity along with deep bass. As I cranked the volume up expecting to hear it strain and lose quality…it didn’t. I must admit I spend a good amount of time just listening and enjoying the rich quality of the sound before I even go to the video side of things. I guess this is why Bang & Olufsen themselves say, “Actually we insist that TVs are just great speakers with a relatively large display!”." That just
I totally agree. I am pretty certain I am going to order a new V1-40 and I can't wait to learn how to use all of the clever features from the comfort of home :) I have managed to assemble a collection of BeoLabs worthy of the TV - 8000s, 6000s and a 2... hopefully these will work well! Are you going to be running yours standalone Michael or with extra speakers? Jon
Hi Jon! Nice to hear I'm not the only one who wants the seller to stop demonstrating
I couldn't agree more on lack of electronics in the bedroom - they stress me out! I have a bed and a shelf and nothing more - that's minimalism for you (also known as a chronic lack of space) As my V1 will be the living room/only TV in the house I plan on maxing out the connections and using the media player to the full - I hope it's nice and easy to use!
Same here, less is more is my philosophy. I understand that you want to max it out and I
I mentioned on another thread that the V1 would make a great bedroom/link set and I'd certainly think about getting one if I could work out how to access my sky+ box to play live and recorded programmes. Anyone got any bright ideas - the only thing I could think of was to use a lintronic/ir sender to main room and then feedback to V1 via normal aerial co-ax which is insitu (ie soln as acessing any non B&O set via the beo4).
I am not living in UK so
