I just wanted to add that not all of ST's 2N3055's are counterfeits. I did order a bunch of them from a distributor back in 2013 when I heard about ST givin' up the production. After reading here I tried to rub-off the printing with alcohol; it faded somewhat but was not erasable. See lthe left front transistor And I notice a bit more "digital" print font on the transistor compared to the other picture in this thread. Does anyone have a description of the printing on it? I searched

  • Re: Beosound 9000 MK1 power problem

D30 is what I wanted to point to as well. It is a Zener so at regular 5V it shouldn't do anything. I think it's an overvoltage protection if for any reason the 5V line should go up higher. Seen this kind of protection elsewhere. Switching current for the regulator is only D22's task... I'm not sure it was neccessary to go up to the 60V Schottky; The higher the inverse voltage of schottkys the higher is their Vf. I've been there as we had an assembler thinking he'd do us a

Hi Peter, I do have the BS9000 MK1 type 2521...2530 service manual # 3538847 09-96 but... The diagrams M and N are here on other page numbers than you mentioned. I have attached my 2 pages related to the power supply and the power switching. the diagram named L in my manual is called "motor control and detection"... HTH. By the way - where in Germany are you located? North or South? Greetz, hemenex

  • Re: Cannot access digital Radio

Does it display the station but there's no sound? I'm afraid I have read that Australia is using DAB+, not DAB. B&O's BC2's had DAB if so (there were ones without DAB as well) And there's a very rare version having DAB+ which module is no more availabe since a long time :-( Did it ever work before?

Just do what I recommended. .Press << and >> (simultaneous) in Standby. pretty sure it will display "AU" (=AUX) if it's a MKI Don't know about type number differences but I think SW2.0 and up is MKII hx

  • Re: Beosound 1 clock problem

could it be this is MK1? As far as I remember only MKII had the build-in-clock. Pressing << and >> in standby leads to what? AU -> MKI clock: MKII (In MKII you have to press CD< and CD> to get AU) HTH hx
