  • Re: Beolab 50

Mr 10percent, I would be interested in your experience once you get the streamer. What options have you considered? I have two rooms where i play music, In my living room i have an oppo 205 that is meant to have a great inbuilt ESS dac which feeds a stereo and 7.1 channel phono leads. There's also XLR but the 50s i have dont have XLR. I was planning on connecting the 50's to the Oppo 205 via phono so i can use the Oppo's DAC processing and just feed an analogue signal into the 50s. I'm

  • Re: What is going on with B&O’s current TV lineup?

I had a Loewe Bild 7 with a motorised stand, OLED screen a 5.1 decoder built in and could connect to by beolabs via WISA or hardwire and its worked great. For 2 years nearly I always thought the eclipse was overpriced but after doing a part exchange and taking advantage of the £1500 off the telly B&O were offering i took the plunge. No regrets from me as my speakers connect via WISA, i have a nicer movable stand, the nice remote, speaker groups and it connects with my other speakers int

  • Re: New B&O TV BeoVison Harmony

For me this TV is more of a piece of Art where you either love it or hate it. I'm glad i got my Beovision Eclipse 55 last month after selling my LOEWE BILD 7.. I'l be keeping that TV for a while. The Beovison Eclipse was my first ever BV TV and i personally love it. The BV Harmony looks like a "TV concept of the future" product designed in the 70s /80s at an expensive price point. The movement of the panels shoould have just move DONWARDS like the LOEWE BILD 7, now that was classy

  • Re: New Bronze Collection including Beovision Eclipse , Beolab 50 and...

I actually love brass as have the brass eclipse with light oak grills, not sure about the bronze eclipse yet until I see it but i agree its got allot of potential and a bit warmer than brass. I have the brass 18s , Rose gold 18s and I would love to get the bronze 18s.

At first I thought the Hamony was too indulgent & ridiculous now I want one. Dammit B&O! . I thought the 50s were nuts then I ended up lusting over them then buying them 12 months later They have a new Bronze Eclipse,50s & 18s which are stunning. This throws the whole EOL eclipse range in question as that is being released in April and would be surprised if they just release it for 6 months. Also what option do they have for 55 or 65 inch customers until the Harmony comes in theose sizes

  • Re: New B&O TV BeoVison Harmony

Will they be releasing this in a 55 inch version and when will this be? I take it the orbital rotation is gone? Having now looked at the TV again, the back does look like allot is going on and probaby looks better wall mounted so addting a motorised stand would have made it unweidly.

  • Re: New B&O TV BeoVison Harmony

Why is everyone assuming the large back is housing a beocentre system. Judging by the 77 inch TV and the chunky moving speakers which are also quite large covering maybe a 55 inch area combined - you need to have some serious mechnical parts, motors and pullley systems put SOMEWHERE. The mechanics cant go on the TV panel so the attachement at the back probably used 70% of that space for the mechanincal parts to move everyting and 30 % space left for the soundcentre /hmdi switch similar. Although

Hi Ivan, I think its great that you have joined the forumn of your customer base. I also watched the video you posted and think this will go a long way to educating your clients. I have a Beovision Eclipse and very interested in usign a Beoliving intelligence to control everything centrally. The issue i have is that there is an app for everything these days but would like something that centrally manages everything. Can you confirm for me: - How does the Eclipse view the content/connected devices

  • Re: High Resolution Audio

The Beoplay A2 connects via Bluetooth (lossy) and i imagine a line in. The H9s connect again via bluetooth (lossy) and line in. Andy_js is correct in that you would be wasting your money as both products above particularly the A2 are not Hi-Fidelity devices and dont have stereo separation (A2). Most of the money of the H9s goes to materials and Noise cancellation. A phone will suffice but If you have an iphone the problem is confounded by the fact iphones dont support Bluetooth APxt which has supperier

  • Re: Beolab 50 and Turntables - Is the sound digitised

For sure Some vinyl produced in the last 20 years have been pressed from digital sources. However A few niche record labels like the ones I posted are re-issuing vinyl sourced from analogue master tapes. These companies pride themselves on pure analogue releases and are marketing their records based on having no digitisation throughout the process. I just realised the solutions to my problem may potentially lie with older speakers assuming they
