  • Beolab 4000 vs. 17

I have both, and I swear to the 4000s. The 17s are objectively a better speaker and the sound image is more distinct. It is a more modern sound. I am listening to both models right now in two different rooms. In your case, I would stay with the beautiful ones you already have. Beolab 4000 is a great speaker in its own right. I like the look of your setup, by the way.

  • New B&O floor stand for Stage

I saw the stand two weeks ago in the south of France, and it is a surprisingly good match, allowing for a very seamless look. As it was evening, I wrote to the store and got this info back. The model in the window was the anthracite Stage mounted on the stand with a very large screen on top. It looked every bit as Bang & Olufsen as the Harmony next to it. Unfortunately my phone was out of battery, and it did look somewhat better than the wooden Stage in the picture.

  • Re: Flash your B&O - new thread!

[quote user="kimchr"] This is my wall mounted Beosound Stage / LG C9 55 inch in my summer house. I have been using this setup for a few weeks and I am very pleased with it. I installed the B&O app and have a BeoRemote One so this is the full B&O experience. In my other home I have a BV-12NG. My most recent B&O purchase six years ago not counting the Stage. I am surprised how different the picture quality is. Not necessarily better, but different. I love my BV12 - it is very

  • Re: Beolink Multiroom software overhaul

I feel that a longer post is in place, but alas I haven’t the time right now. Suffice to say that for my use-case, the updates have quite simply worked wonders and restored the user experience one used to expect from B&O. There were so many limitations before hampering the UE. Add to that the fact that the app now allows for an independent value-fixed volume control of the NL/ML converter (where previously it could only be turned up and down but didn’t indicate what level it was currently playing

  • Beolink Multiroom software overhaul

Hi all, I noticed today that virtually all my multiroom products (old and new) had pending updates. The result is quite wonderful, and I gather that B&O have been hard at work. There is no longer any latency when activating BeoLink for Airplay sources! This means that B&O products can be activated for Airplay 2 and Multiroom and be used in a mixed Airplay setting (with speakers by other manufacturers) in perfect sync. What it also means is that I can now stream to one B&O product via

  • Re: Beovox RedLine "curly cords" anyone?

Steve, do you still stock curly cables such as these? I have a pair of Beovox 3000 that I would like to bring to new use on a wall where I cannot hide the cables. I figure it best to show the cables, and spiraled would look great. I would only need the 2P DIN jack at one end. Kind regards from Copenhagen!
