Imagine how embarrassed you could be if, like me, you’ve contacted the B&O support as well

Hi Could it be a button on the remote or a button on the control panel that remain pressed? Did you try to remove the batteries from the remote?
This is embarrassing... I will leave the thread here on the board as a joke for the rest... My BeoTime in the bedroom was lying on the volume button. This is quite stupid...

  • Beosystem 2500 - Volume turning down

Hi BeoWorld. When i tried turning on my Beosystem 2500 this morning, the volume fell from 28 to 0 and stayed at 0. Therefore the radio felt quite useless . I tried the AUX-input too but the same thing occurred. When I tried to push the other commands on the controlpanel of the Beosystem, it wouldn't respond, and kept showing the volume level on the small screen. As if somebody was pointing a remote at it with the volume down-button pushed down. Then I picked up my Beo4 and tried using that. With

  • Re: DVD2 won't recognize my Beo4 remote

Thank you so much Guy . When i get home from work, i will try to test out the 6 buttons on the back as you suggested, and then I can buy a new SCART-cable afterwards. Happy that the unit was cheap, when I have to use SCART .

Thanks for the quick response Guy. I don't know if the cable is fully wired, but I can see all 21-pins in the plug. Do you suggest that the DVD2 wouldn't get IR-signals through HDMI? So the only possible connection is a fully wired SCART-cable?

  • DVD2 won't recognize my Beo4 remote

Dear fellow BeoWorld users. I have just switched apartments and brought all my B&O equipment with. During the moving I found a good deal on a used DVD2, which I bought, to play DVD's. And now I thought it would be the time to connect it to my BeoSystem 3. I preferred to connect it using the HDMI-port, so that's what I did. But first I went through the connection settings in the BeoSystem 3 and made sure that DVD on the Beo4 would trigger the HDMI connected DVD2. Afterwards I switched

  • Re: Flash your B&O - new thread!

With this autumn weather outside I thought it would be a good idea to post some of my B&O items. I am studying, and therefore most of my items are bought secondhand. In my bedroom i have a BeoVision 8-26 connected to an AppleTV via HDMI. The BeoVision is mounted to BeoVision 6 floor stand, with a bracket I made myself. It is placed on a BeoVision 3 cabinet. I know I maybe should have cleaned my desk, but what the heck.. Who has a clean desk... The lamp is cardbox-design from IKEA controlled by

  • Dead Beosound 8

A friend of mine just bought a faulty Beosound 8. None of the lights power on when connected to a regular poweroutlet. So i have read that there is fuse inside the cabinet, that is possibly burnt. But I don't know how to open the cabinet. Do any of you have a service manual or a step-by-step tutorial?

  • Re: BeoVision 4-50 Table Stand

DONE!.. After a small email conversation with BeoVox141, I was ready to make my own table stand and decided to use the stand of an old crt avant. I found an AV5 2 kilometers from my apartment which I picked up for about 15€. So I took it to my dads garage and started to disassemble it until I had the bare aluminum skeleton. I'm not proud of it, but the rest ended as garbage... When I had the bare skeleton I bolted the wall bracket of the BV4-50 to the skeleton, and cut of approximately 10cm of
