  • Re: Should I buy a center speaker?

We are using an Epson 9200 beamer, which is connected to the Beosystem 4. The Beolab 20s do have a very good 'phantom center', but sometimes dialogues in movies could be a little bit clearer...

  • Should I buy a center speaker?

Hello everyone, currently I have a 4.0 setup consisting of 2 Beolab 20 in the front and 2 Beolab 17 in the back, all connected to a Beosystem 4. We watch a lot of movies etc, so I was thinking about getting a used Beolab 7.1 center speaker. At this point, the sound of the setup is already very good, but would an additonal center speaker improve the sound even more? Also, I have connected the current speakers wireless through the transmitter - would there be ans setup issues, if I conneceted a Beolab

  • Re: Beovision Installationskosten

Was muss denn da zusätzlich durchgeführt werden? Vielleicht übersehe ich da ja was.

  • Re: Bedroom Clock with Beoplay speaker solution. Advice wanted

Just a short off-topic question: I have been reading several B&O manuals for the Beovision 11, the Beolab v1, the Beosystem 4 and all kinds of information regarding the B&O multiroom app, and I cant find any information on a wake-up function. Is it true, that there is no wake-up function at all with Bang & Olufsen? No automatically starting music in the morning, seriously?

  • Re: Connecting Bang & Olufsen to a Sonos Connect

Thanks for your answer! Basically, I'm just looking for a simple and affordable multiroom capability. At this point I have a Beosystem 4 with Beolab 20s connected wirelessly in the living room, a Beovision 11 in the kitchen and a Beoplay v1 in the bedroom. I want to add additional speakers in two bathrooms and to the entrance area, and Sonos just seems to be the best solution for that. The new A6 would be overkill for this, the S3 would be perfect, but only supports bluetooth, so that doesn't

  • Connecting Bang & Olufsen to a Sonos Connect

Hi all, I know it is possible to connect a Sonos connect to Bang & Olufsen and play Sonos music through B&O devices, but is it possible to use it the other way around as well? I mean, can I output B&O music to a Sonos connect (e.g. TV-sound)? I have severeal B&O devices by now (Beosystem 4, Transmitter, Beoplay v1, Beovision 11), but I don't see a possibility to output the sound to an external device (e.g. through digital out). Are there by any chance special cables for that?

To my knowledge, the Beomusic App does not support an alarm or sleep function - at least that's what my dealer told me last week. Seems more difficult than it should be, but I use a Sonos Connect connected to the Transmitter of my wireless Beolab 20 and use the Sonos App to wake me up. Sonos is very easy to use and that way I also have several other Sonos speakers play music at the same time (e.g. bathroom, floor, bedroom etc). I believe there should be a much simpler solution from B&O though
