Hi
Like CharlieWednesday I have got myself a 1200 which needed a little work. The info on this site and others has addressed most of my issues, but I have two questions that someone here might perhaps be able to help me with. First question is do the turntable brass plates need to be stuck back to the underside, and if so what adhesive is optimal. The machine worked well enough before I dismantled the take up side to replace a belt.

The second question relates to the 118 Pin for lock plate and 119 Bushing. My photo shows a small piece of plastic that may have broken off the top of the pin which secures the bush. I have included the relevant diagram from the service manual. I haven’t been able to find a close up photo of this area, but in the ones I have seen it does seem to be a flat black surface that I am seeing. My question is whether it makes sense to superglue the top back on? The bushing seems to ease itself off now I have cleaned and oiled it.
Would be great to get a response.
Thanks
Simon
