    Hi Guy, thanks for the information (I’d already seen some of it). I was thinking of doing what you suggested. I don’t think I haven’t any trouble to disassemble the BM 7000 and replacing the battery. My doubt is about the correct procedure for restoring the factory settings. I can probably use the BM 6500 settings as a reference. Or I could connect another battery in parallel before unsoldering the original one so as not to lose the programming.

    Hi pepps, I haven’t seen this thread, but I’ve seen others, and none of them have answered my questions. I’d prefer a complete service manual for the BM 7000 for a complete description. The only one I’ve been able to find is for the BM 6500, which I think is slightly different…
