Thanks! I think im going for the splitter solution. And yea i guess ill have to open up the 4000 soon aswel and see what the damage is. Maybe the previous owner did the same and decided to sell them. I bought them for 150€.

I read that humidity plays a big role in causing the foam to rot. Who knows, maybe im Lucky but i shouldnt wait too long.

My bl4000 speakers have a phono sockets, so mk1. The arc to analoog converter doesnt have any more output Connections because both bl8000 are already connected there.

Isnt it possible to split the signal at the output of the converter and from there connect both bl4000? Or is the only route to connect them with the bl8000 speakers?
