Forgot to say I do watch cable TV from time to time and occasionally play a Blue ray movie so I need some basic remote control functionality. The plastic-fantastic modern TV remotes with colourful pay app buttons drive me crazy though

I was thinking about the possibly to build an integrated home audio/video system with B&O speakers, subwoofer, room correction, smart TV, streaming – all controlled by a single Beoremote…

It seems the only way is to use the Theatre but I don’t want a large sound bar. I much prefer separate speakers – will look better in my space and will probably sound better too. I kinda want the Theater electronics without the bar part 🙂

Thanks MM, this clarifies a bit.

I didn’t know that Beoremote One can pair with ATV. Are you saying something like this will work and can be controlled by Beoremote One (basics – switch on/off, select program, volume up/down):

AppleTV <- hdmi -> LG TV <- toslink ->  B&O speakers

I thought that Beoremote is not a universal remote but maybe I thought wrong
