Dear John,
The Beosound 5 Encore doesn’t show any logo’s for the radio stations, only the name. (As far as I know it never did).
On the Beosound 5 + BM5 and the Beosound Moment the radio logo’s are shown.
You can force the update of the last firmware manualy or automatic.
This is done in the settings menu. Mode-> Settings-> Maintenance -> Update software.
The latest firmware version on my Beosound 5 Encore is; 1.3.8 Build date 10-Sep-2012.
