First try adjusting the contrast – see the Beo4 manual for instructions how to do so*.If it does need a new screen (as the photo appears to show), they are available here: https://avaservices.co.uk/

* If not in the instructions, do this: On Beo4, press Power (red dot) and LIST together. Then press MENU and GO together. Press LIST until screen shows: CONT:XX. XX is a number from 00 to 15. Type in new number to change (start low – 00 is lowest contrast), then GO to save, and Power (red dot) to exit.
Thanks on the above, I fortunately got a full working condition with a clear LCD on ebay, for the similar price of the LCD, so I think that’s a good option, just incase I need a spare remote later on.
