    Hi all!

I have old power link cables in place  – is it a good idea to use a convertor (round connection to rj45) and use these existing wires to connect to ‘new’ Lab 28’s (replacing older 5’s) or should I drop the cables entirely and use the Wireless Powerlink option (from a Beovision) ?

I’d say wires in any case….especially now that they are already there.

Thanks! Was just concerned the existing cables might not be ‘up to’ the standard for fully shielded powerlink

    Hi,
If you previously used Beolab 5 on these round 8 pin cables then they will be fine for Beolab 28, you just need adapters like these to convert them to RJ45 for the new speakers:-

    Kind regards, Steve.
