BRONZE MemberHi All,
My first post. Seeking help for an old, no longer supported BeoLink system.
I purchased a home full of B&O at the turn of the century and love it with an unnatural affection. Or did. But it’s stopped working.
It might have stopped when I threw out the BeoVision1 televisions. I hope it is a simple programming issue.FWIW, I can make the system work if I first switch everything off – then turn everything back on in a particular order. I think it’s 9000 first, then everything else but it might be the other way around. It’s so much trouble, I don’t even bother. When it works in this way, everything seems operable. But once switched off, it will not switch on again without repowering. All standby lights are on prior to repowering.
I have a BeoSound 9000 as my central source and speakers in four rooms connected via (I think…) BeoLink cables and junctions. Beolab 1’s, Beolab 2000 and Beolab 3500.
The manual for the 9000 refers to an AV Setup and choosing the correct option. Since disconnecting my TVs, I no longer have an AV setup – Just A!
Should I be choosing option 0, 1 or 2 in this case?Do my other speakers require some changes? Or am I barking up the wrong tree completely do you think?
Thank you in advance.
