BRONZE MemberI’ve managed to source a replacement socket box cable for my Beocenter 2, which should arrive in the coming weeks. I’d love to integrate it with my Beovision 11 as a CD and radio source — since I’m already using the built-in TV speakers, a pair of Beolab 3s on floor stands, and a Beolab 2 sub, I think it could make for a really nice CD/AV/Hi-Fi setup.
What’s the best way to get this working? I know the Beovision 11 no longer has ML/MCL or the older style Powerlink connectors, so I’m wondering — do I need one of the brushed silver Bang & Olufsen BeoLink NL/ML Converter boxes for this?
Just want to make sure I get the right setup before buying anything?
Best regards

GOLD MemberThe NL/ML converter will probably get you the best user experience.
you can connect the BC2 to the BV11 in other ways, but the control will get more complicated

BRONZE MemberI agree with Mads.
However, if you just want to test it, both the BC2 socket unit and the BV11 have SP/DIF input and output.
You can start playback on the BC2, then configure and select the corresponding input on the BV11. You can listen using P.MUTE.
It should work — though it’s not the most elegant solution.
