    Hi all.

I noticed this eBay listing for a “Furnishing options with Bang & Olufsen” catalog from 1990: https://www.ebay.com/itm/297599614370

The catalog itself looks very much like a real B&O catalog, but the products all appear to be 3rd party products (surely?) like table lamps and wall lamps, with the accompanying LC1 dimmers of course.

The Beosystem 4500 furniture looks actually pretty nice.

But this, was this really a sanctioned B&O accessory?? Of course, it was the 1990’s so I guess it was considered a good idea… 😂

Unless there is a very large opening (or fan??) on the back for air circulation, and a proper outside IR eye, this looks like such a bad idea on so many levels!

    And no B&O part numbers.
I agree that the wooden cabinet would be a very bad solution when it comes to keeping things cool.

    Haven’t seen this before.

Confirmed by Bang & Olufsen – it is not a Bang & Olufsen catalogue, and they never sold the products shown.

Interesting! The cover page has prices in GBP so perhaps this was some kind of a local thing by some single dealer with contacts? The catalog itself and the photos look very professional and the design (manual, not products) would’ve fooled me.
