Morning, apologies for asking what may be a daft question but was wondering whether anyone is using their Beovision 6-22s as part of a speaker setup? I have an Avant-55 which I use as my sound set up (Apple music through Apple TV) with both networked and also wireless adapted speakers. I have a Beolab 2 and 6 6000s across the house in open plan layout. I have two Beovision 6s in differing rooms but now very rarely watch video on them but am loathe to remove them as they are beautiful pieces of furniture. I was wondering whether anyone has tried to utilise the speakers with some form of Wisa adaptor or such which can be connected to the Avant? Sorry, am probably doing wishful thinking but thought would ask. Many thanks.

        Hi,

        Not BV6-22 but I’ve got a BV6-26 (actually a BC6-26).
I’ve also around the house BL4000, BL8000, BL6000 and some third party Airplay speakers.
Between all, best and amazingly sounding to my ears are: ex-æquo BL4000 and BC6 and all the rest far after.

Now I believe BV22 and BV26 have different speaker setup (one way vs two way) but anyway, what I want to say is those thing have to be seriously considered. And also they could be very usefull for more that just sound.

        Hope this helps.

You do not mention if you have a Masterlink network where the Beovision 6’s are connected to?

The Beovision 6’s could be connected to the Avant via NL/ML converter and and play sources from the Avant that way. If you do not allready have it you may need some cabeling for this to work.

Thanks so much for replies. I used to have a ML cabled set up but now have by 6000s connected through networking and RJ45 connectors (apart from 1 and the Beolab 2 on a wisa receiver/ adaptor). I don’t really have the ability of doing more cabling so I guess was wondering a non cabled solution but I suspect this would be impossible.

Ok, just so you know if you do have network cabling near the Beovision 6’s you might also be able to use that as Masterlink cabeling. Alternativly the NL/ML converter can be placed with the TV’s and the network cabeling can be used as network
