I’m seeking clarification on the extent to which the latest LG OLED TV can be controlled using a Beoremote One, when connected through a Beoconnect Core with the B&O app installed on the TV.
It’s seems widely acknowledged that LG’s CEC support is not comprehensive, but some basic functionality is reportedly available. However, the specifics remain unclear. Could anyone with firsthand experience provide insights?
Am I correct in assuming that the functionality of the Beoconnect Core with an LG TV would be similar to that of a Beosound Stage connected to an LG TV, relying on the same limited CEC control? Specifically, which features are supported? For example:
- Power on/off
- Source selection
- Channel navigation (up/down)
- Volume adjustment
- Menu navigation (arrows and OK button)
Any detailed insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
