BRONZE MemberAfter several years of searching I have finally found a pair of Trumpet (or is it Tulip?) speaker stands…
These are the earlier version with the flat top, not the version which fits the s60 and the M70.
So it raises the question – which beovox fit this and which sound the best?

BRONZE MemberSo I have spent an hour or so doing some digging through old brochures and I think this is the list of all the speakers which would work with these stands (i.e. they are big enough to cover the entire 11″ square plate at the top).
Beovox 3000
Beovox 4000
Beovox 4700 (4702)
Beovox 3800
Beovox 5700 (5702)
Beovox m70
So which of these would you suggest is the highest quality? I have read enough posts here to suggest the answer lies in system matching. I am currently using a beolab 5000 if that makes a difference…
While I was looking, I also saw there are at least three versions of the trumpet stand, and similar “trumpet” designs were used for beocords and TVs. The speaker versions are:
-
6007 HT Bord – this has the trumpet base and a completely flat top (bord means table in Danish, so I guess that makes sense)
-
? model number – the same as above, but with a small upright edge at the back to screw into the back of the speaker (this is the model I have bought)
- ? model number – a trumpet base and then an angled black metal bar with a cross piece at the top with screw holes to go into the back of the speaker, in the same way the square based stand for the s series and other beovox works.
I have seen both the flat top stands called 6007’s in online pictures, but the pictures of the completely flat design has a sticker on it and the original box. While you can’t read the sticker or the box label in the photo, it seems like the auction house selling those stands had access to the correct information. But perhaps both versions were called 6007.
Version 3 seems to be used for the s60 and m70 – but possibly could work with different models if the screw holes were the same distance apart as the square based stand that followed.
