GOLD MemberHi all, looking for some tips and suggestions on expanding my current setup which consists of Theatre with 2x 28s in front. Im looking to expand on my setup to add rears. I don’t want to use the 28s as rears mainly due to aesthetics and I understand that this would be the perfect setup for my smallish room.
I’m thinking of adding 2x Beosound 2’s to either side wall to act as rear – I hear someone saying just buy the 8’s lol, well… I already have 1x Beosound 2 3rd gen and would prefer to buy just 1 more. Does anyone have any experience with using the Beosound 2 as part of a theatre setup?

I don’t have 2’s but I use Beosound 3’s a rears for my theatre and its more than adequate. Im thinking of getting some 12.3’s to replace them eventually just to get some more bass in the back.
With the BS2 you would have to use Digital power link which I don’t think a ton of people here have experience using yet. Personally I worry about wifi interference but I guess that really depends on the individual use case.

GOLD MemberThanks for your reply. I’ll have a look at some older stuff which definitely still looks modern as you said!!
