Repair Beogram CD4500 – any repairer recommendations?

Any recommendations for repair of a Beogram CD4500.  It’s spinning, but not reading disks – it shows ‘Play’ for a few seconds, then goes into Standby.

I don’t have the requires skill with CD players to try to fix it myself.  I live in Northwest UK (Near Liverpool) so was hoping for someone quite local.  I’ve looked online and can’t find anyone local.

Silly question maybe but have you tried Multicare?

Not a silly question at all and I have considered them, but Leeds is quite a long way away, so I was wondering if there was anyone closer, as I would much rather drop-off and collect in person.

If I can’t find anyone nearby, I’ll certainly ask them for a quote though.
