BRONZE MemberHi everyone,
what would be the best way to adjust the load capacitance of my phono preamp perfectly to my Beogram cartridges MMC-20EN, MMC-20E (both on Beogram 4002) and SP-12, SP-10 (both on Beogram 3000 radial type 5228).
The data sheets just provide a recommended impedance load of 47 kOhm, but I couldn’t find any information on recommended load capacitance.
How are doing it? Just by ear?
Any help is very much appreciated!
Kindest regards

Simply adjust your setting by ear but remember that the cables are already going to contribute to the value.

BRONZE MemberThank you Mark!
That‘s what I did until now.
With MMC 20EN and MMC 20E capacity of 220pF sounded better than 100pF to me. More open and transparent treble.
I still have problems with restoring my Beogram 3000, so I couldn’t test the SP cartridges yet.
Kindest
