    Hello everyone!

I am setting up a Bang & Olufsen home cinema system and I’m debating between two speaker combinations. I’d like to know which one you recommend and why, based on your experience.

Option 1: BeoLab 8000 fronts, BeoLab 7.2 center, BeoLab 3 rears, and BeoLab 2 or BeoLab 19 subwoofer

    <li class=”py-0 my-0 prose-p:pt-0 prose-p:mb-2 prose-p:my-0 [&>p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0″>

Option 2: BeoLab 9 fronts, BeoLab 7.2 center, BeoLab 3 rears. No subwoofer included.

All speakers are connected to Beosystem 4

    What do you think?

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks!

I asked the AI a question and its response was exactly the same, even optionally adding a BL19 for even more a cinematic effect..but i think it is not necessary

    Hello Chema,

I trust the BL9s are better than the 8000s. But I am not so fond of how they look. So my setup has BL8000, BL7-1 & BL2 with a BeoSystem 3. And I enjoy it every day.

Just to make choices harder 😋.

    Wishing you wisdom, regards, Johan.

I fully agree with you and may be depend of the use … I’m looking a deeper bass for cinema mode, the 8000 are very good speakers but I think they struggle with low frequencies.

    it is a harder choice!

    thanks a lot

Happy with BL 8000 / 7.2 / 6000 / 19 here. I couldn’t abide the appearance of the BL9 and much more convenient to be able to wall mount the 8000s.

I have a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos setup with a Beosound Theatre and six black Beolab 9 speakers. The Lab 9 speakers provide a very even bass distribution for a very immersive experience. I find that the low height of the Beolab 9 makes it blend in with the room and become very inconspicuous. Also, the acoustic lens is the ideal height to be ear level when you’re sitting to watch a movie.

The Beolab 9 speakers have the roles of front, side surround, and rear. The Beosound Theatre is center channel. Four Beolab 4000 speakers have the height channels and there is a Beolab 2 for the subwoofer. The Beolab 9 speakers and the Beosound Theatre actually have bass low enough to be subwoofers, too.
