This is my first post on the platform.
I’m looking for help with a problem I have with a Powerlink splitter.
the situation is as follows:
Beosound Ouverture -> PL 1 -> Penta mkIII -> PL 2 -> Y splitter -> beolab 4500.
the situation is that the splitter is creating a static hum that seems to be ticking at times as well. The noise doesn’t come out of my Penta’s.
Ive had this system for a while and without the splitter (so looping the 4500’s to each other) everything seems fine.
I would appreciate any thought from this forum as the merchant who I bought the splitter from seems to think the problem lies with my equipment and not the cable.
