BRONZE MemberI’m in the middle of renovating my penta 3s. On the crossover boards what adhesive (brand) is a good choice to secure the new caps and the replacement mid coil that was once once filled with the stuff?
Also, and I have asked this all over the place but not had a good answer yet unfortunately. – Is there a repair scheme to reinstate the reflective chrome effect paint on the acrylic base cover. One of mine has pulled off the double sided tape, which has taken a good chunk of the mirror effect covering from it?
Cheers Guys.

ModeratorI use hot glue.
It’s easy to work with and holds absolutely fine.Martin

BRONZE MemberI did replace the caps on my Pentas a year ago. I also used hot glue. I put hot glue approx 5 mm wide and the length of the cap on the board. Let it cool quickly a couple of seconds then pressed the cap into it. It holds very firmly.
More work was to remove the old glue before that. I used a very sharp knive, my Swiss army knive, to gently (without too much pressure, avoid for all sake slipping to not cut yourself or other parts on the board) squeeze the blade between board and glue.
