Grettings,
Actual configuration (Beolink Multiroom + Possibility of adjusting each speaker individually which is not currently possible with a B&O device – except Beocenter4 or…. THE BSTH):
Beosound Core (With Rega P3 connected) – Toslink – Almando SoundCenter Surround – BL11 + BL3 (Front L+R) + BL3 (Rear L+R)
Expected configuration (Beolink Multiroom + Possibility of adjusting each speaker individually which is not currently possible with a B&O device – except Beocenter4 or…. THE BSTH + Mozart):
Beoconnect Core (With Rega P3 connected) – ?????? – Almando SoundCenter Surround – BL11 + BL3 (Front L+R) + BL3 (Rear L+R)
As there is (unfortunately) no more Toslink on the Beoconnect Core, to connect it to the Almando SoundCenter Surround, is it possible/preferable to use :
- Hdmi port of the Beoconnect Core – Hdmi cable – Hdmi port of the Almando SCS ?
- Usb-c port of the Beoconnect Core – Usb-C/Toslink converter – Toslink of the Almando SCS ? If yes… Do you know a good converter ?
- Usb-c port of the Beoconnect Core – ?????? – ?????? of the Almando SCS ?
- Powerlink RJ of the Beoconnect Core – Powerlink RJ to Powerlink DIN cable – Powerlink DIN of the Almando SCS (I’ve tried with the existing Beosound Core… but the sound is far less better than with the Toslink… Maybe a question of setting on the core but I’ve not found how to set “line” for “speakers connected”…
Thank you in advance for your help, your possible solutions and I apologize for my imperfect English… I’m French and no longer have the opportunity to practice Shakespeare’s language on a regular basis…
Best regards
Ø
