Hausplanung – Beolab integration

Hallo zusammen,

ich plane aktuell einen Neubau meines Wohnhauses und so langsam geht es mit der Planung der Elektrik los.

Das gesagt möchte ich mich erkundigen, wie ihr die Einbindung von “alten” B&O Boxen in eurem Heim gelöst habt. Wie habt ihr die Verkabelung “zukunftssicher” gestaltet?

Mein aktuelles Setup:

8* Beolab 8000

1* Beolab 7.2

4* Beolab 4000

6* Beolab 4000

1* Denon avc-x4800h

2* Ouvertüre

Der Denon läuft mit den 4 Beolab 8000 sowie dem 7.2 als 5.1 System.

Die Ouvertüren stehen in zwei anderen Zimmern und sollen zukünftig im Schlafzimmer/Bad stehen.

Ich habe aktuell folgende Ideen im Kopf:

1. Verlegung von je zwei Netzwerkdosen pro Zimmerecke, normales LAN und ein B&O geschirmtes Kabel. Wobei sich die Frage stellt was das für ein besonderes Lankabel sein soll, alle von mir bisher selbst verlegten Netzwerkkabel sowieso immer extra geschirmt sind. Gibt es da wirklich einen Unterschied? Anschluss des RJ45 Adapters an Box und an den Denon bzw. Ouvertüren.
2. Verlegung im Wohnzimmer der bisherigen Cinchkabeln in der Wand mit eingelassenen Cinchsteckdosen an der Wand (nicht präferiert)
3. Verlegung von Standard Boxenkabeln zusätzlich zu Option 1

Ich bin gespannt, wie ihr das gelöst habt. Die Option 1 klingt für mich nach der variabelsten, falls dann die Anschlüsse ggf. auch für LAN in der Zukunft genutzt werden könnten.

Hello Manu! Nice problem :-).

B&O advises to use CAT7 SFTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) cabling. From the handbook:

“2 What is Cat7/ Class F installation concept

The new installation concept is based on Cat7/Class F double shielded Ethernet cable.

This will eventually replace Master Link and Power Link cables. The new installation

concept ensures backward compatibility at the same time as preparing for the new

digital world.”

For superb flexibility I agree to your #1 idea and bring sufficient CAT7 wires with RJ45 terminals to a central space and patch everything there as needed. PowerLink and MasterLink can be used over CAT7. The only downside is that (for analog signals) your total cable length and series of connections might be longer/higher in number than with regular direct speaker-to-player connections.
