BRONZE MemberHi all,
I’m a german user and my english is not so good. I have this situation:
I have a B&O system (BV7, BV10, BV11, BM5, BS5, 1641 converter) with some rooms connected via ML/MCL I want to renew my old BV7 with a new LG-panel. But then I remove my BV7 I loose the daily timer function what switch on the radio on my BS5 in some rooms. I do not want to loose that. Any ideas how to implement a “external” timer what can substitute the BV7 timer. Sending an IR signal seams not possible. Think solution is to be to give a electric signal to the ML/MCL bus. But from where? Any suggestions if there is any solution for that ?
kind regards
Henri

BRONZE MemberHi Henri,
Interesting project.
I upgraded a non HDMI BV7 with a new(er) panel a while ago. You can read more about that here:
With this approach it is not really a B&O TV anymore… Just a 3rd party television with a B&O speaker and controllable via B&O remote. But no integration or masterlink capabilities remain.
How do you plan to modify the TV and does it relate to ‘timer’ ?
