Can i exchange the interior of a beocord 7000 with a 6500?

Hi guys,
I have two nonfunctional beocords here.
A 6500 where only one channel is working and one 7000 where the tape won’t play (it does fast forward and back). A small metal piece felt off and I don’t know if this ist the issue.

Anyhow, the two tapes are different and i am wondering if i can replace the lower pcb and the tape.

Changing of the tape only does not work as the connections are totally different.

Does anybody know?
