BRONZE MemberHey all,
I have a BS9000 (2563) that has a strange IR issue. Everything works perfectly fine plugged into PL (beolink passive), but when using an option 1 plug, IR does not work, or MIGHT work randomly 1 out of 40 times if I spam a button and put the remote really close to the receiver.
Both Beolink 1000 and BEO4 work fine when connected to BL Passive. I have tried 3 different option 1 plugs that work fine on another 9000 I have.
I have set 9000 to option 1 (sound-1-store) with BL1000 when plugged into BL passive successfully.I even changed out the three large capacitors on the IR board because that has fixed other issues in the past – no change.
In the end this 9000 will be used with 3rd party equipment, so I need it to work with the option plug.
Any ideas?

BRONZE MemberApologies, I am currently using a BeoAmp 2 for testing and PL connection, not BL passive.
