As NETRADIO and net.radio have now stopped access to the BBC radio channels,mi added a M3 into my network and connected it up to my BeoLink Converter. This works fine athough I have an issue with choosing stations via the ML Gateway. NETRADIO had the concept of favorites, which were chosen (by the remote control for example) by a number or the coloured keys on the remote. I used the MLGateway to select a particular favourite that way.
my issue is that I can’t see how to add favorites in B&O radio – sure, you can add through MY Stations, but I don’t know how to select a specific station. Anyone have an idea?
26 July 2023 at 08:21 #47860I am not sure that can be done.
It is either a bug or a task/feature that still hasn’t been done/added.
They probably don’t realize (some would say, care for) that some B&O owners still use the converter/gateway.
In a network link setup you use the BROne to choose the stations directly (they are displayed there) – or you use the app.

26 July 2023 at 09:50 #47861Funnily enough, after some experimenting, it does work with the BLC, but in the random order shown in the app. If it were possible to organise the stations in the app, then that would be a good enough workaround.
27 July 2023 at 07:02 #47862It’s possible to reorganize the favorites :
touch the « 3 lines » logo on the upper right corner of the stations list, then touch the « modify » button (or reorder, I’m translating myself from the app in French) and then play with the order of the stations by moving them with the « 3 lines » button on the right of each favorite.
27 July 2023 at 08:27 #47863You’d think the hamburger widget on the right side would allow to re-organise, but it doesn’t for me – on both an iPad and iPhone
edit: works on iPhone, but you have to long press the widget. Not very intuitive!
6 September 2023 at 18:02 #47864I’ve found some stream that work outside the uk for bbc radio. The ideal thing would be able to edit the radio database. Does anyone have the format or way of being able to patch the file ?
