beotexBRONZE MemberI noticed today on the B&O website that the Beolab 18’s have been removed and when I searched for them I found the note saying they are end of life. Surprised to see this, given I thought they were rather popular, and the price jump to BL28’s is pretty steep. Should we expect to see something new coming?

BRONZE MemberIt doesn’t surprise me. The BL18s have been around for quite some time. All that fancy aluminum probably made them too expensive to produce in today’s world. I guess us “poors” can always go for the BL8s. 🙂
I just saw a press release that they fired their CEO so who knows what is next.

Stan,
I quote only part of you post but agree all of it.
Nevertheless (to me) BL18 have never been superseed in terms of design, look, etc…
I personnaly hope the discontinuity will make their second hand price drop.To me BL18 ARE Bang&Olufsen.

Agreed, one of my favourite looking speakers from B&O 😍
