BRONZE MemberHi All
Looking for an equivalent 8″ woofer for my S45s with the Peerless driver. Is the Beyma Model: 8BR40/N from Spain any good? I’m afraid my woofer isn’t measuring any resistance with a meter and woofers are very rarely for sale. Thanks
Alex

GOLD MemberHey Alex,
Have you fully diagnosed the original woofer? Sometimes you can get lucky and the disconnect is in a terminal or tinsel lead.
You won’t know the real equivalence until someone can locate (or measure) the TSPs of the original transducer.
At first glance it seems that the Beyma driver is better suited for a vented/ported cabinet.
