BRONZE MemberHi all
Have a question about a pair of S45’s I have acquired after hearing great reviews about how they sound. Unfortunately one of the woofers is stuck. I read somewhere there is a modern Peerless driver fairly similar in specs. I would prefer to restore them with an OEM driver but they are difficult to come by. I’m also happy to pay someone to re-cone them but I don’t know where to get a re-cone kit. Any help would be appreciated. I’m located in Australia and happy to pay postage from anywhere in the world. Thank you.

ModeratorHi,
I reckon hcraig advice: try to repair it by yourself before dumping it and raplace it with an unknown specs driver.
It is scaring but lost for lost, if you succeed, then… Mmmmmmmm.
Lots of threads and step by step tutorials on BWII and BWI.
Good luck.
