Hi everyone, I can’t remove my woofer from the “ring” . It is wedged in there and I’ve tried to pry with screwdriver, and loosen the rubber gasket but I still can’t get them out.  Any suggestions?

Problem solved!  I needed to get the proper leverage and they just peeled off. It was basically laminated to the basket and the gasket seems to have bonded to the ring. Anyway now on to the fun part! My foam surrounds were delivered today.

These woofers are a beast. I’ll be placing these into the cabinets tonight. I’m going to wait to recap for a month or two. They didn’t sound awful before the reform so we’ll see. None of the caps looked “bad”.

This is what it looked like before the reform.

I had mine done 10 years ago I must say, by a good fellow of this forum. But yes it’s a beautiful unit. Well done then ?

Enjoy your MC120 “Pespective”. Did you have to clean the protection contacts?

I have them attached to a Beomaster 8000.

No I didn’t. I have another pair that I did have to do that to.  But the sound pretty good without having to do that. They don’t cut in and out. Even though they sound pretty good I’m going to do a recap on them in the coming weeks and then they will be restored to their full glory. Love the speakers on my BEO master 6000. This too will sound better after I recap it as well
