BeoVision 7 55, flashing red light & start up delay

Hello,

My 15 years old BeoVision 7 55 always worked perfectly until recently.

After pushing power ON, slowly flashing red light and 1-2 minutes delayed start up. After that it works perfectly.

Took power of for 1 hour, after reconnect had to provide PIN, and starting time delay was ~50% lower than before.

After some internet digging and ChatGPT help, I suspect aging capacitators….

How can I confirm this “diagnosis”?

Can it be repaired, if so, what are estimated costs?
