FOUNDER MemberDear forum,
we are using a Beosound Essence MK I since years, it is setup in the Bang & Olufsen App on an iOS device.
Now we wanted to add another Beosound Essence MK I, but the device cannot be added to the setup in the app.
Both are on the same software level (hightest available). The one to be added can be seen but nothing more. We looked at the web interface via IP address of the device an everything is just the same – there are really no setup possibilities via the web interface…
Background information: we want to adjust the volume of the Beosound Essence MK I for the sound played via LINE IN (we do have a Sony TV attached via headphone out), so that the general volume of the TV is higher. Volume is controlled via Sony remote.
Running this setup in a different room give much more volume since the volume of the BeoSound Essence MK I that works just fine is set to the max (slider control in the B&O App when playing from line-in).
Any idea WHY our other BeoSound Essence MK I won’t connect to the app?
Maybe not supported anymore and only devices integrated some years ago will show up?Thanks in advance.

RalfPS: We tried both ways, BeoSound Essence shown in the top of list when trying to add new devices AND scrolling down to the very end to choose BeoSound Essence MK I.
