    Hello Beoworlders,

My BL50s are connected to a Theatre through Powerlink and to a Beosound Core though Optical.

In the Beo App and my Beoremote Halo, I cannot directly control the volume level of the Core.

I have to choose what to listen and begin the playback in the BS Core page, then go to the BL50 page to control volume level.

I suspect this could be corrected in the Core settings, but I cannot find where.

And of course the B&O website is of no help as there is no user guide available but only a very limited FAQ where my question is not listed.

    Anybody can help?

    Thanks and kind regards,

    Yann.

    Hi and thank you.

Already done, but it does not work.

BL 50s input is set to Automatic as I use several sources:

      <li style=”list-style-type: none;”>
    • Powerlink for the Beovision Theatre,
    • Coaxial for Wiim Pro Plus,
    • Optical for Beosound Core.

I wonder if the USB A on the Core is an USB audio output that I could connect to the 50s.

    Kind regards,

    Yann.

Are you finding a difference in sound quality between the Theatre and Core? Wondering the thought process for having both in the system

Being a Mozart product, the Theatre does not give a direct access to my ML sources (I do not find the “join” workaround very practical) .

The Core does through the ML/NL converter.

    Hi

Is it a Beosound Core (old) or Beoconnect Core (new) you have? I have Beosound Core and Beolab 50, where I have the Core’s optical output (line/optical combo 3.5mm jack) to the Beolab 50’s optical input.
