    Dear members

Iโ€™m delighted to be a member here and get some advice on my products.

My latest purchase is a Mk3 BeoSound 9000 white LE.

My question is regarding the serial number and edition number. ย I. Puzzled as I would have tonight theyโ€™d match but the dealer told me they donโ€™t.

it seems a big coincidence to me that one is xxx19 and the other xxx18, but maybe Iโ€™m thinking too much! ย Pictures below.

The unit doesnโ€™t come with any paperwork so Iโ€™m in the dark as to the background but the dealer tells me it has been serviced and has a new laser. ย He is providing a 12 month warrnty and has a very good reputation, it would seem, so I went for it as the price was good and condition is excellent.

    Thanks in advance.

Sounds odd to me I would ask the dealer about that. Maybe something harmless or maybe a misunderstanding. Maybe when they were servicing them they got the round plate mixed up.

Maybe it is as simple as the serial number starting index from zero and the edition number starting index from one.

I have a white 9000 so I will check these numbers but it will be at least a month before I see it again .

Your numbers seem strange. Sorry my item number is 1250017 and serial starts with 2201. I have number 70x

I checked mine at my dealer when I bought it of someone.

do you have the red button on top? A bit onreal but I bought another one it is coming tomorrow I will look again to verify. This unit should be ok as I checked it again with my dealer and bought it of Catawiki.

    I finally got back to my BS9000 and 35 c- hot !

I can explain your numbers. Look at the photoIMG_1215ย The first two sets of numbers are identical, so it was a coincidence that you had 19 and 18.

Hope this helps you sleep better ๐Ÿ™‚
