Beosound 9000, i cant connect

Hello everyone. I became the owner of Beosound 9000. It is installed horizontally on the wall, the wires are hidden in the wall. I see several cables from it: one RCA, the second RCA, two 8 pin. First, I plugged in headphones into each RCA, on one of them I can hear a quiet and noisy sound. I connected this RCA to a receiver with passive acoustics, but there is no sound. There is sound from other sources. I also connected headphones directly to the Beo in the minijack – the sound is excellent. I read the instructions, tortured chatgpt, but still did not find a solution. The current usage scenario is: Beo is connected only to a receiver with passive acoustics. Maybe someone can give advice? The cables you mention; are they coming out of the wall? So you have two RCA and two din coming out of the wall?

 

The Beosound 9000 has four ways to connect to a non-B&O system or speakers.

-Headphone, which you have discovered.

-Digital Coax OUT – The single RCA jack on the 9000. Variable output.

-AUX OUT – This is using the DIN AUX connector. You will need the correct DIN to RCA adapter. Fixed Output.

-Powerlink OUT – There are two of these, they both function the same. You will need the correct DIN to RCA adapter. Variable output.

 

If you are connecting it to a device like a receiver or preamp with it’s own volume control, I highly recommend using the AUX OUT method so they your receiver is the one controlling the volume.

Hello! Thanks for the answer! Can I try to clarify for myself? Isn’t Aux an input for external sources? This is what it says in the instructions and my little experience suggests this) Or can it be both an input and an output in Beo? Judging by the instructions, the device has only one Aux 8 pin socket, one Master Link, one digital (I don’t know which one), two pin 8 for speakers. In addition to the antenna inputs. I have one pair of RCAs sticking out of the wall, a second pair of RCAs (to the left and right of where the TV was), two 8PIN plugs a little to the side. Which one should I torture and plug into the receiver? Thanks in advance!
