Beosound 5 Encore

Hi everyone.

Has any of you had luck connecting a streamer to the Beosound 5 encore?

is it only giving AirPlay abillities or also Metadata?

It only has aux in without metadata unfortunately. Was hoping to upgrade the encore also, but I don’t have one to test with. If you have a BeoSound 5 with a BeoMaster 5, there are more modern options now.

Thanks. No I went for the Encore for a more simple setup. I know it’s old but I like to see how you can integrate old units in a modern Lifestyle.

I use Firestream ( Available on the App Store ) connected to the Beosound 5 Encore via Ethernet / WiFi and it gives me Song Album Cover etc ….
