Hi.
B&O newbie here, it’s my sister in law who has a BeoSound 3000, think it’s the later model as it has a pin. Being a bit technical I’ve been “volunteered” to help. CD won’t play, spins up but then stops in a second or two.
I’ve managed to get into the test mode and scrolled through the errors, CD is showing error 7 which I understand means “subcode could not be read within time limit”. I’ve cleared the errors and powered it off and on again, the fault is still present. Any helpful hints would be much appreciated.
I’m technical enough to change the laser if needed, but I’d rather not go swapping bits without a better idea of what the likely fault is!
Thanks
Paul E

Best wishes
