BRONZE MemberYes, I still have this machine driving me crazy, after two tours to a tech. Came back home, plugged it in, and the Powerlink to the speakers does not work.
I set the OPTIONS to A1 and V0, and the SPEAKER to 1, though the display on the Beomaster does not respond to that.
Having gone through a test session guided by AI, the recommendation was to get a new Omron G2R-2-SN (DC24) relay.
I would much appreciate any input on this. Have I got the settings right? Are there any additional tests I should do? The oputput is fiine; it just does not get to the Pentas.

GOLD MemberI would check that the muting pin in the jack plug isn’t permantly connected to GND.
I’ve seen that before./steffen

BRONZE MemberThank you for your advice, steffen, but although I have tested the audio jack on the left side of the front, and have perfect sound when connecting a headset, I do not know what or where the muting pin is.

GOLD MemberHave you tried to connect normal speakers to SPEAKER 2 output?

BRONZE MemberYes, skolesen, I did, and they work, after I touch the volume on Beo4. I had the Beomaster 7000 checked, and it turns out there was a glitch in the audio jack. The Pentas still do not work.

GOLD MemberNormally if there is only audio in headphone jacket and SPEAKER 2, these can be there reasons:
- a bad mute relay (RL1)
- bad TR2
- the mute pin in the haeadphone jack is constant set to GND.
Next question: Is there audio in SPEAKER 1?
If yes, is there 12V on PL pin 3 (PL ON/OFF) when the BM is on?
If no check TR5 on the power supply.
If yes, then check the PL cables.

BRONZE MemberYes, there is audio in Speaker 1 (passive speakers) when I connect the 4500.
I am learning here; 12V on PL pin 3 must mean the powerlink pins, so I will check that, but which powerlink are we talking about? The PL on the BM is not in use.
TR5? What is that?

GOLD MemberYou have started the same topic in two different forums at the same time on Beoworld without explaining your setup i the Nodic forum.
I thought that your Beomaster 7000 was in a “solo” setup and not a part of a multi room.
So I can’t help you there.
