Hi, I’m new here. A few days ago I bought a Beomaster 6500, Beogram 6500 and MCP 6500. Does the Beomaster have a hinged flap at the bottom? If there is something wrong with the remote control, how to operate the receiver? Does this receiver have such a thing as standby? Is he working all the time? Where to find the manual in PDF?
22 December 2023 at 22:58 #51533Hello suhy2, welcome! That is a really nice set.
The BeoMaster 6500 does not have a hinged flap, the only controls are the bottom corners of the front panel. You will need a remote to do any settings (MCP 6500) and for daily control (here a Beo4 or BeoLink 1000 will work too). The BeoMaster 6500 is on standby when only a red dot is displayed. To get manuals, I would advise to become a Silver or Gold member of Beoworld. You will then have access to many (service) manuals.
Regards, Johan

When searching for a user manual, look for the Master Control Panel user manual. It will have more information on operating the receiver than the Beomaster user manual.
