I have a Beomaster 5500. Does everything it’s supposed to, but it’s quite hot. The heatsinks are burning up, but the system itself doesn’t shut down or restart. Is this normal?

    It is not normal.

There are 2 potentiometer on the amplifier section, adjusting the “no-load-current”.

Replace the pots (100 Ohms?) and look for this adjustment. 11mV across TP200-201 and TP400-401.

You’ve got the answers, you’ve got the schematics, you’ve got the value, that’s all the tutorial you’ll need.
Hello, please and thank you would have been welcome also.
